Disclosure: RehabAdmit publishes this list and is on it. We compete with every agency here, so we do not rank them by number. Each one gets a "best for" label, and every statement about another agency comes from that agency's own website, checked October 22, 2026, with a link. Where an agency does not publish something, such as prices or terms, we say so instead of guessing.
How we picked these agencies
On October 22, 2026 we pulled the US Google results for "behavioral health marketing," "mental health marketing agency," "mental health digital marketing" and related agency searches. Each agency here met three tests:
- It markets behavioral or mental health programs and says so on its own site.
- It showed up where buyers look: in those Google results, or in our own in-depth agency reviews.
- It publishes enough to verify: services, client types, and ideally prices, terms or results.
We left out lead sellers, directories and treatment-center listing sites, because they sell placements or calls rather than run your marketing. RehabAdmit is on the list because we publish it, as disclosed above. If you run an addiction treatment center first and foremost, our rehab marketing agencies comparison covers that market.

| Mental Health Marketing | Therapists, counselors, psychologists, group practices | $400 consult to $8,000+ website | Ongoing services month-to-month |
Every competitor cell comes from that agency's own site, linked in the profiles below and in Sources. "Not published" means we did not find it on the pages we checked. Ad spend is separate in every case.
The 10 best behavioral health and mental health marketing agencies
Cardinal Digital Marketing

It runs Google, Meta, display, TikTok, SEO and AI search, websites and media mix modeling.
Its mental health page says it has "helped over 50 mental health providers" and links a case study on helping the country's largest mental health care provider scale digital marketing to 500+ locations. It lists ABA therapy, addiction treatment and telehealth as segments it serves, and says PPC usually shows results within the first three months while a full SEO program may take up to six (source). RehabAdmit
Disclosure: this is our agency. RehabAdmit is built for treatment providers doing $3M to $30M a year and charges a flat fee (home page). We also market mental health practices and programs, and we have worked with renowned treatment centers with operations in Florida, California and Massachusetts, among other states (About).
We run Google and Meta ads (Microsoft Advertising on request), SEO, CRM and admissions work, and we report cost per VOB and cost per admission by channel. We charge a flat retainer of $5K to $25K a month for services, never per admission. There is no minimum term, and our 90-day guarantee says: if you don't see measurable admissions growth in 90 days, we keep working for free until you do. We do not file LegitScript applications (comparison). Where we do not fit: anyone who wants to pay per admission.
Best for: established operators who want one flat fee and reporting by cost per VOB and cost per admission. See our behavioral health marketing and mental health marketing services.
Healthcare Success
Healthcare Success says it has worked in healthcare since its founding in 2006 and lists 1,000+ healthcare clients and 40+ team members (source). It serves hospitals, pharma, dental and many other sectors alongside behavioral health.
Its mental health page covers addiction treatment, autism, eating disorder, telehealth, and TMS and interventional psychiatry marketing. Services include branding, websites, SEO, paid search and social, reputation, physician referral development and analytics, and it says its SEO and content programs are built for both traditional search and AI-driven discovery tools (source). It also sells traditional advertising. We did not find published fees or terms.
Best for: organizations that want brand, referral and traditional media work alongside digital, from a large healthcare agency.
MGMT Digital
MGMT Digital calls itself "a boutique digital marketing agency that specializes in the behavioral healthcare industry," in business since 2017, and lists Los Angeles and Miami as its locations (source). Its client list menu covers mental health treatment, eating disorder treatment, ABA, psychiatrists, Spravato, telepsychiatry and TMS providers. The same menu also lists general healthcare such as dentists, chiropractors and nursing homes.
It sells SEO, PPC, web design, branding, video, social, email, traditional marketing and a LegitScript consulting service, and says it builds custom proposals for each client (source). Its featured case study reports a 379% increase in conversions for Casa Serena, a women's addiction, mental health and eating disorder treatment center, in the first 3 months (source). We did not find published fees or terms.
Best for: single programs that want a smaller team covering creative, search and LegitScript prep.
Behavioral Health Partners
Behavioral Health Partners describes itself as "a full-service behavioral health marketing agency and addiction treatment consulting company headquartered in Denver, Colorado." Its consulting side handles feasibility, proforma, state licensing and accreditation, and it claims 100+ licenses secured. Addiction treatment is its main focus, and it says it also serves "mental health facilities and programs," with service pages for ketamine and TMS clinic marketing (source).
It accepts one client per level of care, per market. It offers 6-month and 12-month terms and quotes pricing on the second call once the work is scoped.
Best for: founders opening a new facility who want consulting and marketing from one firm.

Webserv
Webserv says, "We work exclusively with addiction treatment and mental health facilities," has supported them since 2017, and is "Trusted by 200+ Treatment centers nationwide." It says it works inside your CRM, admissions workflows and call tracking, and it features an outpatient mental health result on its homepage (source).
Its 2025 benchmark aggregates PPC data across all active clients: $16.5M in ad spend, 40,652 leads and 994 admits, for an average of $406 per lead, $2,552 per VOB and $16,608 per admit. Webserv calls $16,608 "a starting point, not a target" (source). We did not find a published minimum term.
Best for: operators who want a larger addiction and mental health specialist that publishes its own funnel numbers.
Elev8
Elev8 calls itself "a full-service behavioral health marketing and technology agency" with three service lines: media (SEO, paid media, content, reputation), sales (business development, referral programs, fractional CMO) and tech (CRM, call tracking, VOB, AI agents). Its clients are addiction treatment centers, mental health programs and eating disorder facilities (source).
Its about page lists 45+ behavioral health centers, 22 states with active campaigns, 15,000+ admissions generated and $30M+ in ad spend, with offices in Tampa and Medellín (source). Pricing is custom per month, management fees are separate from media spend, and it requires a 90-day initial commitment, then month-to-month (source).
Best for: operators who want one vendor for media, their tech stack and referral programs.
Lead to Recovery
Lead to Recovery says it has marketed "only behavioral health providers, since 2019," across addiction treatment, mental health, eating disorder, ABA, MAT and sober living programs. Its homepage reports cost per admission for an Arizona mental health center falling from $1,548 to $914 year over year (source).
It publishes starting prices: Local SEO from $750/mo per location, Regional SEO from $1,500/mo, National SEO from $7,500/mo, PPC from $1,000/mo and websites from $4,800, with 90-day minimums (source). It reports cost per admission for every channel and campaign, and says, "We do not connect to your CRM" (source).
Best for: operators who know which channels they want and handle admissions follow-up in-house.

Allgood Marketing
Allgood's tagline is "Fills Beds, Not Dashboards." It says it works "exclusively with healthcare, behavioral health, addiction treatment, psychiatric practices, and local medical providers," reports true cost-per-admit from your intake team's admit data, and lists plans starting at $4,500/mo with no annual contracts. If the first 30 days produce no qualified inquiries, the next month is free (source).
Its mental health proof includes Orlando Premier Psychiatry, an outpatient psychiatry practice where it reports doubling inbound patient calls month over month from organic search.
Best for: psychiatric practices and treatment centers that want to start month-to-month at a known price.
Mental Health Marketing
Mental Health Marketing (mentalhealthmarketing.com) says that since 2016 it has "worked exclusively with therapists, counselors, psychologists, and group practices," and lists 500+ clinicians helped. It is built for private practices, not treatment centers (source).
It publishes a price range: "$400 consultations to $8,000+ custom websites." Ongoing services are month-to-month, it says most practices see meaningful improvement within 3 to 6 months, and it states it does not guarantee client numbers.
Best for: solo therapists and group practices that need a website, local SEO and a steady caseload.
How is mental health marketing different from addiction marketing?
The ad rules split the market. In the US, Google requires LegitScript certification plus Google's own certification before you can advertise recovery-oriented drug and alcohol addiction services (Google policy). LegitScript's own application checklist says locations that only offer mental health treatment don't need certification (LegitScript). If a program also treats substance use, check the addiction rules before you advertise it.
The unit also changes. A therapy practice counts booked first sessions. A residential or PHP program counts verified benefits (VOBs) and admissions. Ask any agency which unit it reports on, and make sure it matches yours. Our LegitScript compliance guide covers the certification steps.
Marketing strategies for behavioral health programs
Whichever agency you hire, these are the questions we would want answered in the first 30 days:
- Is tracking in place from click to admission? Calls, forms and VOBs should match back to the campaign that produced them.
- Does each level of care have its own pages and campaigns? We would build residential, PHP, IOP and outpatient separately, not as one campaign.
- Are the ads allowed? Addiction ads need LegitScript and Google certification in the US. Mental-health-only programs do not need LegitScript, but check each platform's health ad rules before launch.
- Who answers the phone, and how fast? Marketing that produces calls nobody returns is wasted spend.
- How is the agency paid? Flat fees for services. Paying per referral to a treatment facility can break federal law (18 U.S.C. § 220).
The number to ask for: cost per admission, not cost per lead. Webserv's 2025 benchmark, built from PPC data across all of its active clients, reports $406 per lead, $2,552 per VOB and $16,608 per admit. Ask every agency on this list, us included, for its cost per VOB and cost per admission on programs like yours before you sign.

Frequently asked questions
What does a behavioral health marketing agency do?
It plans and runs the search, ads, website, tracking and intake work that turns people looking for care into admissions or booked sessions for programs that treat substance use, mental health and co-occurring conditions. The better ones report on cost per VOB and cost per admission, not only on clicks and leads.
How much do behavioral health marketing agencies cost in 2026?
Few publish prices. Lead to Recovery starts at $750/mo per location for Local SEO and $1,000/mo for PPC (source). Allgood lists plans starting at $4,500/mo (source). Mental Health Marketing, which serves private practices, ranges from $400 consultations to $8,000+ custom websites (source). RehabAdmit charges a flat retainer of $5K to $25K a month. Behavioral Health Partners quotes on the second call, Elev8 prices each client custom, and Cardinal, Healthcare Success, MGMT Digital and Webserv do not publish prices on the pages we checked. Ad spend is separate.
Do mental health programs need LegitScript certification to advertise?
Not if they only offer mental health treatment. LegitScript's application checklist says locations that only offer mental health treatment don't need certification (LegitScript). Addiction treatment is different: in the US, Google requires LegitScript certification plus Google's own certification to advertise recovery-oriented drug and alcohol addiction services (Google policy).
Should a therapy practice hire the same agency as a treatment center?
Usually not. A private practice needs booked first sessions and a strong local profile. A treatment center needs insurance-qualified calls, admissions follow-up and, for addiction care, LegitScript-compliant ads. Mental Health Marketing works only with therapists, counselors, psychologists and group practices (source). Most other agencies on this list are built around treatment programs.
Which agencies publish contract terms?
Lead to Recovery: 90-day minimum (source). Elev8: a 90-day initial commitment, then month-to-month (source). Behavioral Health Partners: 6-month and 12-month terms (source). Allgood and Mental Health Marketing: month-to-month (Allgood, Mental Health Marketing). RehabAdmit: no minimum term, with a 90-day guarantee. We did not find published terms for Cardinal, Healthcare Success, MGMT Digital or Webserv on the pages we checked.
Should I pay a marketing agency per admission?
No. Federal law makes it a crime to pay or offer anything of value to induce a referral to a recovery home or clinical treatment facility, with fines up to $200,000 and up to 10 years in prison for each occurrence (18 U.S.C. § 220). Pay flat fees for services and track your own cost per admission. More detail in our EKRA guide.
Why is RehabAdmit on a list RehabAdmit publishes?
Because we compete for the same clients and leaving ourselves off would hide that. We disclose it at the top, we do not rank anyone by number, and every statement about another agency links to that agency's own site. Our own entry uses only facts from our live pages.
How should I choose between these agencies?
Start with your program type (therapy practice, mental health program, addiction treatment or a mix), then ask each agency for cost per VOB and cost per admission on programs like yours, who works on your account, what the minimum term is and how the fee is set. Walk away from per-admission pricing.
